Epicness in book form :D

(Taken from the back of the book)
My first impulse is not to grab her or kiss her or yell at her. I simply want to touch her cheek, still flushed from the night’s performance. I want to cut through the space that separates us, measured in feet—not miles, not continents, not years—and to take a callused finger to her face. I want to touch her to make sure it’s really her, not one of those dreams I had so often after she left when I’d see her so clear as day, be ready to kiss her or take her to me only to wake up with Mia just beyond reach.
But I can’t touch her. This is a privilege that’s been revoked.
It’s been three years since Adam’s love saved Mia after the accident that annihilated life as she knew it . . . and three years since Mia walked out of Adam’s life forever.
Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Julliard’s rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia’s home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future—and each other.
Told from Adam’s point of view in the spare, powerful prose that defined If I StayWhere She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

****

I just have to say...this book is AH-MAZING!

It is so indescribably good!

I only purchased this book because I couldn't seem to find 'Defiance' by Lilith St. Crow. So instead I bought this one and I remembered Gayle Forman. I knew she was a great writer. I had forgotten though, how exceptionally GREAT she was. That was until I read 'Where she went'. From the first page, from the first words I was already drawn into the story.

I was never once bored.

Gayle Forman includes everything from tragedy, love, family, passionate love for music, death...and all the consequences of choices that were made.

It is such a fantastic read and I highly recommend this book. Actually I ORDER people to read this book!! But if you are, read the beginning of Adam and Mia's story in 'If I stay'. You will be blown away with the power and magnestism in both books :)

To Inspire You!

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the things you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. . . . Explore. Dream."
Mark Twain

Bonjourno to all, I am LetsEscape.
Inspiration.

Through my 16 years of living, I have found that inspiration is of vital importance. Why? Well,  for me as a 'writer' I need inspiration wherever I can get it. Luckily for me, inspiration can be found anywhere you look.

I have been posting for 3 years on writing sites such as Quizilla, Booksie, Mibba and Wattpad. These are such great websites because not only can I post my own works up for all to see but I can also scroll through multitudes of stories by other writers on these sites. This is great because not only can I fine tune my writing skills but I can also gain inspiration and insight from these talented writers.

So you're probably starting to wonder what is the point to this ramble, well I'm starting to wonder that myself :P

Actually I am here, rambling on about inspiration and writers because sometimes, myself included people tend to lose site of said inspiration. And before you can say Captain Jack Sparrow is the best pirate ever, you have writers block.

The block every writer despises.

I am here to tell you, ladies and gentlemen that I am going to put a stop to it! (Or try to and end up doing an EPIC FAIL)

How exactly am I going to do this, you ask?

Simple. I am dedicating my time to inspire all of you through my blogs. That may include me rambling on about random crap. You have been forewarned! I'll find pictures that I find inspiring, point out wonderful writers whose stories you should check out, books that have been EPIC and maybe some reviews to go along with that and other such things that will help all of you, lovely people, to gain inspiration.

So I know that was a really long intro but I like to ramble on before I actually get to the point. And sometimes, my rambles can go on for a very long time but I'll try and keep them to a minimum :D

Until later, I leave you with this.

Ciao, amigos!
